Hidden food sensitivities can quietly drive inflammation, digestive distress, and autoimmune symptoms, even when standard allergy tests appear normal.
Identifying Hidden IgG and IgA Food Sensitivities
Several food allergy panels are offered at the Health and Vitality Center. The main difference between these panels and what your allergist may order is the following:
Most often, conventional doctors test for IgE-mediated food allergies. These antibodies go up only in case of a severe food allergy and not necessarily food sensitivity. Our clinic will test for IgG and IgA-mediated allergies, which can be hidden, and patients may not be aware of them.
Once food sensitivity is determined, those foods are eliminated from your diet, and once your system gets stronger, a rotation diet is recommended. A rotation diet only eats certain allergenic foods every four days. Targeted nutritional supplements are also recommended to heal the root cause of food allergies and leaky gut syndrome.
